1 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
February 4, 2025, 5:30 p.m.
A. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Mayor Meyer called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.
Roll Call found the following members present: Maloney, Mendoza, Oerlemans, and Mayor Meyer.
Vice Mayor Pierson arrived and joined the meeting at 6:08 p.m.
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance.

D. BUSINESS ITEMS
D.1 FY 2022/24 Strategic Plan Initiatives and Outstanding Future Agenda Items discussion to finalize the FY 2025/27 Strategic Plan Representatives of each department within the city gave a presentation.
Mayor Meyer opened public comments.
Connie Conover spoke regarding the wall at Summerset I and about the importance of the maintenance of Brentwood.
There being no additional speakers, Mayor Meyer closed public comments.

The City Council, by motion, directed staff to bring back a draft Strategic Plan for consideration including: any additional proposed initiatives organized in order of priority and by staff’s bandwidth/capacity, a draft schedule and/or projected completion dates, and that staff provide a priorities spreadsheet in advance of the meeting where the City Council will consider adoption of the 2025/26 - 2026/27 Strategic Plan.
