1 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
April 8, 2025, 5:30 p.m.
A. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Mayor Meyer called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Roll Call found the following members present; Maloney, Pierson, Mendoza, Oerlemans, and Mayor Meyer.
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance.
C. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor Meyer opened public comments.
Danny Dohrmann spoke in support of having the Council appoint Darin Gale as the Interim City Manager.
There being no additional speakers, Mayor Meyer closed public comments.
D. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
It was moved/seconded by Vice Mayor Pierson/Council Member Maloney to recess into Closed Session at 5:33 p.m.

E.1 CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
E.2 PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
F. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
City Council reconvened into Open Session at 7:17 p.m. and reported their decision to offer the position of Interim City Manager to Assistant City Manager, Darin Gale with the item to be formally considered at the City Council/Successor Agency Meeting scheduled for April 22, 2025.
G. ADJOURNMENT
It was moved/seconded by Council Member Mendoza/Vice Mayor Pierson to adjourn at 7:18 p.m.
