SUBJECT: Agenda Item E.2 – Meeting Minutes of October 15, 2024 Following the publication of the agenda, it was brought to my attention that the Meeting Minutes from October 15, 2024, did not accurately reflect that the Vice Mayor joined the meeting prior to the conclusion of the public comment period.
The corrected Meeting Minutes for October 15, 2024, are attached to this memo.

1 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
October 15, 2024, 5:30 p.m.
A. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Mayor Bryant called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Roll Call found the following members present: Mendoza, Pierson, Oerlemans, and Mayor Bryant.
Vice Mayor Meyer was absent. at roll call, and later joined the dais before the conclusion of public comments.
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Bryant led the Pledge of Allegiance.
C. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor Bryant opened public comments.
Danny G., Rebecca Mares, and Savannah Evoniuk submitted emails of concern regarding labor negotiations to the City Clerk's office in advance of tonight's meeting.
Luke Santos, Sonia Cardinale, Monica Raposa, Jennifer Hagen, Nicole Zanotelli, Jaylene Walker, Daniel Efting, Amanda Chaney and Cydrice DeBray provided comments relating to item D.1.
There being no additional speakers, Mayor Bryant closed public comments.
D. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
It was moved/seconded by Mendoza/Pierson to recess to Closed Session at 6:05 p.m.
Motion carried unanimous with Mendoza, Oerlemans, Pierson, Meyer, and Mayor Bryant in favor.
Mayor Bryant stated that reportable action, if any, would be reported out at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting and that Council would adjourn from Closed Session so as not to interfere with tonight's Planning Commission Meeting.
