1 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
January 13, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
A. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Mayor Meyer called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.
Roll Call found the following members present: Maloney, Mendoza, Oerlemans, Pierson, and Mayor Meyer.
Vice Mayor Pierson participated remotely via Zoom under the just cause provision of Government Code § 54953.8.3.(c)(3).
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance.
C. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor Meyer opened public comments.
Danny Dohrmann, Paul Ramirez, Becky Alcantar, Frances Fult, Herm, Rudy Ramirez, Rich Ramirez, Jose Grajedo, Franklin, Glenn, Bridget Doherty, Gregory Osorio, Maria Dominguez, Patricia Granados, and a representative from "Together We Stand" provided comments regarding the Brentwood Police Department's interaction with Yolanda Ramirez on September 26, 2025.
Mayor Meyer closed public comments.
D. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION

The Council, by motion, recessed to Closed Session at 6:55 p.m.
