A. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Mayor Meyer called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
Roll Call found the following members present: Maloney, Mendoza, Oerlemans, and Mayor Meyer.
Vice Mayor Pierson joined the meeting at 5:44 p.m.
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance.
C. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor Meyer opened public comments.
There being no one wishing to speak, Mayor Meyer closed public comments.
D. BUSINESS ITEMS
D.1 FY 2026/27 and FY 2028/29 Strategic Plan Framework and Department Priority Projects

The Council, by motion, directed staff to move forward with planning for Phase 2 of the Strategic Plan Workshop and to make the following revisions to the 24 outstanding Future Agenda Items currently in progress:
combine all future agenda items relating to Land Use; and combine open space overlay items and Measure Q items; and City Attorney to review options for restricting hate speech during public comments before this item returns; and
outline roles/functions of the Public Information Officer, Better In Brentwood and the City's social media outreach; and
outline the process for how suggestions from Commissions will be brought before Council for consideration.
