1 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
September 8, 2026, 5:30 p.m.
A. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Mayor Meyer called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Roll Call found the following members present: Maloney, Pierson, Mendoza, Oerlemans, and Mayor Meyer.
Council Member Maloney participated remotely via Zoom under the teleconferencing provision of Government Code § 54953(b).
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance.
C. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor Meyer opened public comments.
Danny Dohrmann provided comments regarding the City Manager.
Laura Von Savoye, Joan Pratt, John Miller, Karen Rogge and Anthony Stevens provided comments in support of Fire Station 90.
Greg Robinson provided comments regarding Items E.1 and E.2.
There being no additional speakers, Mayor Meyer closed public comments.
D. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION

The Council, by motion, recessed to Closed Session at 5:46 p.m.

E.1 CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS

The Council, by motion, directed staff to spend time and attention to:
work on the proposed transfer of the property located at 6691 Lone Tree Way; and
work with the Contra Costa Fire Protection District to negotiate price and terms of the proposed transfer; and
authorize staff to enter into the development application review process.
