Thanks for clarifying for me and my confusion that I was signing for a 2 year term.
As you know I told the Council that I was interested in assisting again on OSEC with an eye towards joining Parks & Rec after a couple of years.
So in this case it seems best for me to gratefully accept the 3 year OSEC seat with the knowledge that within 2 years I'll begin looking to see if any seats become available on P&R. If you did not mind sharing this with Council I'd appreciate it as I do not want them to perceive me as a "quitter" if I raise my hand a couple years in the future.
Finally, as much as I would like to attend the swearing in ceremony, I have a rehearsal at the Golden Gate Theater on Thursday for the SF Gay Men's Chorus upcoming Christmas concert so I'll not be able to attend.
