Subject: Re: Follow-Up Survey on the Petition to Reinstate the Brisbane Preschool Program Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a brief update on community engagement. Our goal is at least 100 petition signatures and 100 survey responses. In just 2 days, we have collected 114 petition signatures (please see the attached document for details). Additionally, in less than 1 day, we received 27 survey responses. You can view the preliminary results and comments here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-A53fVJQ_2F0Dol9LNIyzCN1w_3D_3D , and responses continue to grow.
Please find attached the current petition signatures and partial survey results. We are encouraged by the level of community engagement and will continue to share updates as more responses come in.
Respectfully,
Lorie Mae

Subject: Follow-Up Survey on the Petition to Reinstate the Brisbane Preschool Program Dear Brisbane City Council,
I am writing as a follow-up to the petition (https://c.org/gYWq5tc88m) recently submitted regarding the reinstatement of the Brisbane Preschool Program, and to provide an update that I will be sharing the results of both the petition and the follow-up survey with Council once collected.
As part of our ongoing community advocacy, I am continuing to gather feedback to further demonstrate the level of local support and the importance of this program to families in our area.
To support this effort, I have prepared a brief survey (1–2 minutes) to provide additional input for decision-makers:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6QKV7RC
The combined results of the petition and this follow-up survey will help strengthen the case already presented and ensure that community need is clearly reflected in ongoing discussions.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration of this extremely important matter.
Sincerely,
Lorie Mae Vecchione

Subject: Brisbane Quarry Plans
Hello Brisbane Quarry Council Members,
I’m writing to you about my concern about the proposal to change the building project from a shipping warehouse to a data center. I’m sure you’re well aware of the data center energy needs, noise pollution and other potential harm to the environment and the surrounding habitat.
Please be mindful to not just accept payment if there are ill long term effects on our beloved habitat and environment.
Thank you,

Subject: APR 8, 202 RE: Quarry Road Trail Project > Name Modification Hi Jeremy and Maz, Park & Rec.
Proposal to the City of Brisbane; Rename Quarry Road Trail aka: Quarry Road is the only name showing on most maps now.
Name Change: From Quarry Road, and Quarry Rd. Trail as it is now, to Quarry Oaks Trail.
Why: Honor Mr. David Schooley who I understand planted over 30 native Oak trees along the sides of Quarry Rd over a 20 or so year
time period from 1970. Some are now mature and large, others are still young or sprouted from seeds of the big ones. I seems
we could honor David's work as well as educate people about the native trees b making this simple name change.
Fiscal Impact: Likely none to minimal. No new signs would be required. The signs could be phased in over time whenever the City
decides new signs are needed, then they would be ordered with the new name.
Respectfully,

Subject: April 2 Council Meeting Comments
Dear Jeremy, Maz, Christine, Attending Staff and Brisbane City Council - Ingrid, would you be so kind as to share this to the BCC and any other staff that were attending the meeting?
I apologize for using the phrase "fucking green Volkswagen" and "god dammit green Volkswagen" in my comments during last night's meeting. It was inappropriate no matter how unhappy I have been about that car being illegally parked on Visitacion Avenue for literally years.
It has been a long week for me and I was extremely tired last night, but obviously am passionate about safety on Visitacion Avenue and San Bruno Avenue. I am very concerned that if no legal U-turns are allowed on Visitacion Avenue at any intersection, it will severely impact traffic on all of the side streets and create a worse safety issue than we have now. You can ask how no U-turn at Mariposa and Visitacion due to the bulb-outs has already affected traffic on Inyo Street.
The other day on my block of Sierra Point Road between Klamath and Humboldt, I had to back up, pull over and wait for a large delivery truck to make a 5-point U-turn on our street. Imagine that and other nightmare scenarios on all the feeder streets to Visitacion Avenue.
Thank you for all that you do and again, I apologize for using inappropriate language.
Regards,
Michele Salmon
