Subject: You're Invited: Schlage Lock Site Centennial
Dear Brisbane City Councilmembers,
You’re cordially invited to attend the Schlage Lock Site Centennial Celebration on Saturday, June 20.

Celebrate the past, present, and future of historic Schlage Lock site. When the facility opened in June 1926, it became an economic engine for the neighborhood and shaped generations of local history. After sitting vacant for years, the building was saved through the advocacy and dedication of the Visitacion Valley community.

Following an extensive restoration effort, the building reopened in 2022 as a community gathering space and headquarters for the Baylands development. Today, it stands as both a symbol of Visitacion Valley’s history and a bridge to its future.

We hope you’ll join us to honor the people, stories, and legacy that make this place so special.

Centennial Event Details:
• Date: Saturday, June 20
• Time: 11:00 am – 1:00pm
• Location: 2201 Bayshore Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94134 (ground floor community space)

Subject: Please Fund a Brisbane High School
Dear Council Members and School Board Members,
As a parent of a BES student, I would like to ask you to support funding a high school in Brisbane.
-Is there deliberation around how to use the property in the Baylands and a limited window of time to make this decision?
-What % of Brisbane taxpayer dollars goes to the Jefferson School District? How much was it last year?
-What % of Brisbane students who graduated from Lipman go to the Jefferson School District? How many went last year?
-Is it true there are council and school board members who oppose building a high school because they feel it was good for their kids to leave Brisbane so they believe everyone else should experience the same thing vs. allowing individual families to choose where they want their kids to transfer to / go to high school?
-What reasons do council members as well as school board members have for opposing a high school in Brisbane? Please help me understand these opposing views.

Thank you for answering my questions,
Marc

Good Afternoon Harbormaster,
I am reporting several boats that appear abandoned or long-term moored in the small inlet/lagoon near the Prothena building along the Park/Sierra Point SF Bay Trail area (between Brisbane Harbor and Oyster Point).

Summary of vessels:
• 1 sailboat very close to shore, present about 6 months • 3 boats tied together, present over 1 year
• 2 boats tied together, present about 1 year
These boats are in plain sight from the trail. This trail is beautiful and should not become a boat dump yard.

Attached is a video of the boats taken today. Location details:
• Nearest landmark: Prothena building / Park Sierra Point / SF Bay Trail Please confirm:

1. Whether this area is under Brisbane Marina/City jurisdiction.

2. Who is responsible for enforcement and removal.

3. The next steps and an estimated timeline.

Thank you,

To: Council Members <[email protected]>; Dennis, Jeremy <[email protected]>; Houghton.Nicole <[email protected]> Subject: Final Community Summary & Request to Reinstate Brisbane Preschool Dear Honorable Brisbane City Councilmembers, City Manager, and Parks & Recreation Leadership,
On behalf of the families advocating for the Brisbane Preschool, thank you very much for your responsiveness and for reviewing enrollment interest. We remain hopeful for a program reinstatement as early as this summer.

Attached are the final community petition documents, survey results, and a support letter from Jessica Aloft (Founder, Mothers of Brisbane). Our month-long outreach (4/12/26 - 5/12/26) demonstrated significant demand:
• 217 total signatures (97 Brisbane residents).
• 50 resident survey responses, with over 50% indicating a need for preschool services within the next three years.

To ensure long-term sustainability, we respectfully recommend:
• Enhancing marketing and implementing enrollment deposit fees. • Exploring full-day options to support working families. • Prioritizing residents while allowing non-resident enrollment at higher fees. • Collaborating with neighboring districts to accommodate regional overflow.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the many community members and donors who supported this advocacy, as well as City leadership for engaging directly with residents on this matter. We look forward to the possibility of welcoming families back to the Brisbane Preschool soon.

Kindest Regards,
Lorie Mae "LM" G. Vecchione, FNP-BC

Subject: Say No to the Baylands Project!
Brisbane City Council Members,
The proposed Baylands development is

TOO BIG
• The proposed Baylands development is Crazy, have you considered traffic? There are no trains or even bus routes that support this crazy expansion. As an urban planner and developer, while the hotel is attractive for taxes, unless new access to 101 is provided, this should be rejected. Current traffic is awful and hardly any enforcement. I live in Brisbane and have been requesting some bumps on Mission Blue to slow down the traffic of the businesses that use that route and the City does not follow up!! What about Safety first. Please keep our Brisbane the small Jewl that it is
