CALL TO ORDER
The City Council met in a special meeting on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber of the Civic Center, 6650 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, California, Mayor Ahn presiding.

Also present were: Aaron France, City Manager; Chris Cardinale, City Attorney; and Adria M. Jimenez, MMC, Director of Government and Community Relations/City Clerk. 1 C. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Eddie Fenton, Assistant City Manager/Director of Human Resources.
2A. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Mayor Ahn announced the public may at this time address the members of the City Council on any matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council. There being none, Mayor Ahn closed oral communications.
CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Ahn stated the need for a closed session as scheduled and ordered the meeting into closed session.
3A. WORKER'S COMPENSATION CLAIM
Pursuant to Gov. Code Section 54956.95; Name of Case: Kenneth Coovert vs.
City of Buena Park; Subject Matter: Authorize Settlement 3B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Pursuant to Gov. Code Section 54956.9 (d)(4); Based on existing facts and circumstances, the City is seeking legal advice on whether to protect the City's rights and interests by initiating litigation; Number of potential cases: Three 3C. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR
Pursuant to Gov. Code Section 54956.8; Property: 6245 Auto Center Drive, Buena Park; Negotiating Parties: Aaron France, City Manager, and Simpson & Simpson Holdings, LLC; Under Negotiation: Price, Terms and Conditions Mayor Ahn reconvened the meeting in open session and it was announced that no reportable action was taken for Item Nos. 3A - 3C.

There being no further business, Mayor Ahn adjourned the meeting at 4:51 p.m.
