The City Council met in a special meeting on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., in the Community Center Ballroom, 6688 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, California, Mayor Traut presiding.

The item was taken out of order.
It was announced the public may at this time address the members of the City Council on any matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council.
Brandon Schooner, Buena Park resident and Climate Action Commissioner, suggested the City Council solicit feedback from individuals who swork near the park location.
There being no additional requests to speak, oral communications was closed.
3. DISTRICT 2 POCKET PARK PROJECT WORKSHOP
RJM Design Group, Inc. Principal Landscape Architect Zach Mueting and Landscape Architect Sara Ryan facilitated the District 2 Pocket Park Project Workshop. The City Council approved a contract with RJM Design Group, Inc. for design services for the District 2 Pocket Park Improvements Project. Principal Landscape Architect Mueting informed the attendees about the City Council's intention to engage the community in the planning of the park's design, elements, and amenities to create a better experience for users and strengthen the park's long-term contribution to the community. Workshop participants provided feedback on potential features or amenities as well as proposed a name for the said park.
Mayor Traut left the workshop at 5:32 p.m.
Vice Mayor Hoque left the workshop at 6:01 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon determination that a quorum was no longer present, the meeting was adjourned at 6:01 p.m.
