Interests & Experiences
Please tell us about yourself and why you want to serve.

Why are you interested in serving on a board, commission or committee? I have been fascinated with civic planning ever since I was a kid playing Sim City. While my career took a notably different turn, I've never stopped thinking about how cities and towns are planned, laid out, and create plans for growth and sustainability. Now that I'm a little older, I want to actually have a say in my local government, and help create both long and short term goals for the place where I live to move into the future in an equitable and healthy manner.

Preserving and expanding green spaces, increasing use of community gardens. Learning more about all that Burbank offers and helping with outreach.

I don’t have any professional background but I did grow up in a household that composted and recycled back before it was the fashionable thing to do. I have a small garden I grow on my apartment balcony (tomatoes, peppers, etc). I’m interested in protecting the environment.
