Dear City Council,
I'm writing to support the proposed extension of the Interim Urgency Ordinance establishing a moratorium on new and replacement restaurants with drive-throughs along with the moratorium on conversions of businesses with drive-throughs into drive-through restaurants citywide.
In addition to the traffic concerns of drive-throughs, it's not good for our air quality and health to have idling vehicle engines.
I would like to see Burbank work toward the complete
elimination of drive-throughs.
