PRE-APROVED ADU’s
• Between July and December 2022, the City
received 195 applications.
• This equates to a total of 205 new ADU units.
• 129 of these were conversions of existing
structures.
• 76 of these were new construction.
• We are seeing an average of 63% conversions
and 37% new construction
PRE-APPROVED ADU’s
• Building & Planning Staff have reviewed 16 of
Los Angeles Pre-Approved ADU Plans and has
determined these are incompliance with
Burbank Municipal Code.
• Homeowners can contact the design firms, via
our website, to purchase a copy of these plans.
