1 am qualified to represent community youth on the Youth Board because of my involvement in student leadership at John Muir Middle School where I serve as the ASB president. As an ASB leader, I represent a diverse group of students, and I bring people together. I have good communication skills, and l am passionate about advocating for my fellow students and young people in our community.

I would encourage youth participation by speaking to students on my campus and educating them about their rights and responsibilities. I would also talk with youth I know personally in the community.
