1.0 Propose. Client and Consultant entered into a written agreement dated August 2, 2016, for Consultant to provide a Golden State Specific Plan and High Speed Rail Station Area Plan and an Environmental Impact Report. ("Agreement"). On August 23, 2018, Client and Consultant agreed to extend the Completion date to August 31, 2019. Now, Client and Consultant desire to amend the Agreement with this second amendment ("Second Amendment") in order to extend the term of the Agreement to August 3 I, 2020.
2.0 Amendment to Section 2.1. Section 2.1 (Term) of the Agreement is amended and restated as follows:
2.1 Term. The term of this Agreement is from the Effective Date until August 31, 2020; provided, however, that the term of this Agreement may be extended by written amendment executed by authorized representatives of each of the Parties or may be earlier terminated as provided in Section 2.2 of the original Agreement.
3.0 Ratification of Professional Services Agreement. All other provisions of the Agreement dated August 2, 2016, not inconsistent with this Second Amendment shall remain in ful I force and effect.
In recognition of the obligations stated in this Second Amendment, the parties have executed this Second Amendment on the date indicated above.
