1 RESOLUTION NO. 23-29,494
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURBANK ESTABLISHING DOLORES HUERTA DAY AS A
CITY OF BURBANK OBSERVED HOLIDAY.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK RESOLVES:
1. Establish March 31 as Dolores Huerta Day, as a City Observed Holiday.
Dolores Huerta Day is to be included in the City’s list of observed holidays bringing the total of City observed holidays to twelve.
2. The City’s Fiscal Year 2023-24 Adopted Budget is amended by appropriating $127,500 from account number 001.ND000.30010.0000.000000.00000 (General Fund, Non-Departmental, Unassigned Fund Balance) to expenditure account number 001.ND01A.60018.0000.000000.00000 (General Fund, Non- Departmental, Holding Salaries) for Dolores Huerta Day.
3. The Financial Services Director is authorized to make such revisions, changes in summaries, fund amounts, totals, and grand totals of the Annual Budget, and other budget documents as deemed necessary to reflect and implement the appropriation specified in this resolution.
