1. Remove approximately 2,500 sq ft of asphalt and
replace with 4" thick lightly brushed concrete.
2. Repair and revitalize turtle pond area with general
landscaping and minor equipment alterations.
3. Install new drive gate for new dedicated dog play
area and install new fenced off dog run area.
4. Install new dedication donor wall.
General Construction Notes:
Leadership Burbank is a non-profit 501(c)(3) using private monetary and in-kind donations to provide additional value and benefit to the Burbank Community.
Applicable City permits will be obtained prior to starting demolition and all work must meet applicable construction standards.
Concrete Slab On Grade (SOG) Installation: 3000 PSI, # 4 rebar, 16” OC, EW, 2” separation from grade with light broom finish. No doweling into existing concrete (slab, wall or foundations) with min. 12 " fiber expansion joint.
Gate and Fence Post Installation: Sleeved installation along length of dog run area.
New donor wall shall remain clear of and not obstruct any existing murals located at the facility.
