Why are you interested in serving on a board, commission or committee? I love Hollywood Burbank Airport and love the ease of use and conveince of closeness. I'm excited for the new terminal. The new design accepted is the one that I voted for. I'm a resident who experiences airport noise. I never had an issue until March 2017 with the implementation of NextGen satellite navigation system. I've attended every Burbank Library and Noise Task at the Marriot meetings on Airport Noise. I'm currently the admistrator of the Burbank For Quite Skies and Neighbor of Burbank Airport Face Book pages, until Audrey Geiger Ford returns from her work assignment in London. Audrey was the 1st Burbank resident to provide data proving there was a change in noise. I've help since the beginning. I feel that I would be a representive for helping noise affected residents not just Burbank but the San Fernado Valley. In the past 7 years of being a voice for noise concerns and attend meetings, I have gain knowledge of how the flight paths, FAA, and Hollywood Burbank Airport work. I know that HBA does not control the flight paths. I do know that the Airport and Airport Authority can help in communication with the FAA with noise relief. One slogan is "Up and out" I know Emily Gabel Luddy is a supporter for trying to making this happen.
