DEPARTMENT requires agencies receiving federal project grants through Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, to execute an agreement every four y ears and submit a grant propos al to the County of Los Angeles Elderly Nutrition and Supportive Services program each fiscal year so each agency can continue to receive federal funding to support their senior citizen nutrition and supportive services.

D. In February 2016, the County agreed to waive the proposal process for public agencies, including the City of Burbank, and allow the City of Burbank to apply for funding for the new grant cycle.
