What is this?
This notice is to let you know that the City of Burbank Community Development Director will be making a
decision to approve or deny an application for an
Administrative Use Permit (AUP) to install a roof -
mounted Wireless Telecommunication Facility (WTF)
on an existing commercial office building located at 800 S Main Street . The Project includes the installation of new screened antenna equipment. The Project site is
located within the Neighborhood Business (NB) zone. The Community Dev elopment Director will also determine if the Project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 pertaining to construction or conversion of small structures, consisting of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures, as well as installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures.
Why am I getting this?
You are getting this notice because the proposed project is located near where you live or own property. This notice was mailed to all residents and property owners within 1,000 feet of the project to solicit input prior to the final decision. Because you have the right to appeal the decision of the Director to the Planning Commission, whether the project is approved or denied, we wanted you to know about both options for participating: call or write to tell us what you think about the project, and/or appeal the Director’s decision if you disagree.
The Community Development Director will make a decision to approve or deny this project on or after April 23, 2024. You also have a right to appeal the decision within 15 days of the decision date (any appeal must be filed with the applicable fee no later than 5:00 p.m. within 15 days of the decision date). antennas with accessory equipment, and
will be enclosed by a fiberglass reinforced
plastic screen measuring 10’-0” in height, which will fully screen the equipment from the public view. The Community Development Director will also determine if the Project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 pertaining to construction or conversion of small structures, consisting of the construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures, as well as installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures.
