SUBJECT: Amendment to the December 10, 2024 City Council Meeting Item No. 8 – Adoption of an Ordinance to Amend Title 9, Chapter 1, of the Burbank Municipal Code to Establish Mandatory Earthquake Hazard Reduction Standards in Existing Wood Frame Residential Buildings with Soft, Weak, or Open-Front Wall Lines by Establishing Mandatory Retrofit Regulations
This memo is to update Attachment 1 ( Ordinance) to the staff report regarding the December 10, 2024 City Council Regular Meeting Agenda Item No. 8 - Adoption of an Ordinance to Amend Title 9, Chapter 1, of the Burbank Municipal Code to Establish Mandatory Earthquake Hazard Reduction Standards in Existing Wood Frame Residential Buildings with Soft, Weak, or Open- Front Wall Lines by Establishing Mandator y Retrofit Regulations.
Below are the changes to Attachment 1 – Ordinance:
Section 9-1-16-400.6.6: Extensions incorrectly references 9-1- 13-400.12.2 instead of 9- 1-16-400.12.2.
