A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURBANK RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH THE
GENERAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY,
NOVEMBER 5, 2024, DECLARING THE RESULTS
THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED
BY LAW
WHEREAS, A General Municipal Election was consolidated with the General Election held and conducted in the City of Burbank, California, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, as required by law.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Burbank, California, by Resolution Nos. 24-29,525 and 2 4-29,526, adopted on June 4, 2024, did cause to be noticed to the qualified electors of the City, a General Municipal Election to be held in the City of Burbank for the purpose of electing candidates to the following offices for a four-year term ending December 18, 2028: two o ffices for Member of the City Council , succeeding Council Members Konstantine Anthony and Nick Schultz, whose terms expire December 16, 2024.
WHEREAS, The notice of the election was given in the time, form and manner as prescribed by law; the Los Angeles County Registrar -Recorder/County Clerk properly established voting precincts, appointed election officers and that in all respects the election was held and conducted and the votes were cast, received and canvassed and the returns made and declared in the time, form and manner as required by the provisions of the Burbank Charter, Municipal Code and applicable Elections Code of the State of California, for the holding of elections.
WHEREAS, The City’s vendor, the Los Angeles County Regist rar- Recorder/County Clerk, has canvassed the returns of the election and has certified the results as attached hereto made a part of this Resolution hereof as “Exhibit A.”
WHEREAS, The City’s vendor, the Los Angeles County Register-Recorder/County Clerk, has additionally provided a precinct map as attached hereto made a part hereof of this Resolution as “Exhibit B.”
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK RESOLVES:
Section 1. A General Municipal Election was conducted in the City of Burbank, County of Los Angeles, State of California, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in the time, form and manner required by law.

2 Section 2. The total number of registered voters in the City was 70, 474, and 52,834 ballots were cast for the City representing a 74.97 percent return rate for all elected offices.
Section 3. That the following Candidates were placed on the ballot (in ballot order) and the following table displays the total votes received by candidate, and percentage.
A. Member of the City Council (Full term of four years, ending December 18, 2028)

Patricia “Trish” Suarez Nacion 1,492 1.87%
Judie Wilke 15,253 19.13%
Section 4. Konstantine Anthony and Chris Rizzotti were the candidates receiving the highest number of votes for the Member of the City Council and are therefore declared to be duly and regularly elected to said office for a full term of four years, ending on December 18, 2028.
Section 5. As prescribed by Burbank Municipal Code Section 2-3-152, the City Clerk shall enter on the records of the City Council of the City of Burbank, a statement of the results of said election, showing:
A. The total number of votes cast in the City;
B. The names of the persons voted for;
C. The measures or propositions voted upon (no measures or propositions in this election);
D. For what office each person was voted for;
E. The number of votes given at each precinct, if applicable, to each person, and for and against each measure or proposition (no measures or propositions); F. The number of votes given in the City to each person, and for and against each measure or proposition (no measures or propositions).

3 Section 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
