A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF BURBANK APPROVING A REPLACEMENT
HOUSING PLAN FOR HOUSING UNITS WHICH WILL BE
DEMOLISHED AS A RESULT OF AN AFFORDABLE
HOUSING LOAN AGREEMENT FOR 2321 -2335 NORTH
FAIRVIEW STREET
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BURBANK FINDS:
A. The Housing Authority of the City of Burbank (the "A uthority”) is considering whether to enter into an Affordable Housing Loan Agreement with the Burbank Housing Corporation, a nonprofit corporation (“Nonprofit”) for 2321- 2335 North Fairview Street, in Burbank, California (the “Property”), which will lead to the demolition of housing units currently occupied by persons or households of low - or moderate- income before an affordable housing project can be developed on the Property.
B. The Community Redevelopment Law requires a housing authority as the successor housing agency to the former redevelopment agenc y to adopt a replacement housing plan prior to the execution of an agreement that would lead to the destruction or removal of housing units from the low - and moderate- income housing market, or prior to destruction or removal of any such housing from the low - and moderate-income housing market.
C. Consistent with the Community Redevelopment Law, a replacement housing plan has been prepared for the Property (the “Replacement Housing Plan”) and made available for review by the general public.
D. The Replacement Housing Plan provides for the replacement of housing units that will be destroyed as a result of a proposed loan agreement by and between the Agency and Nonprofit within four (4) years of such destruction.
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BURBANK RESOLVES:
1. The Replacement Housing Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit A , pertaining to the replacement of housing units that will be destroyed as a result of a proposed loan agreement between Nonprofit and Authority, is hereby approved.

2 2. The Authority, through its Executive Director or his designee, is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary and appropriate actions to implement the Replacement Housing Plan.
