A
DU Rent Survey Results:

A
s required by the Burbank 2021-2029 Housing Element program 6b, the city is required to track new accessory dwelling units to collect information on the use and affordability of these units. In order to establish baseline information on how ADUs are being used, a questionnaire was sent to all property owners issued an ADU building permit since 2018 to request information on occupancy and rent levels. Out of the 893 surveys, we received a total of 105 responses. Of the 105 responses, 7 did not provide the property address and 19 did not provide the ADU rent range. The rent range option provided in the survey are in order of household income (acutely low, extremely low, very low, low, moderate, and above moderate).
