First Choice
FIRST choice for Board/Commission/Committee appointment:

I'm open to serving on either the airport authority or the landlord tenant commission. They both affect Burbank, just in different ways. The airport is more of a macro issue and the tenant-landlord relations are a micro issue in which each case needs resolution.

Describe any qualifications, experience, and education, as well as any technical or professional background you may have relative to the duties of this position.

Like any government decision-maker, I think the quality that matters the most is judgment. I think my judgment on public policy issues is practical and as objective as can be with underlying personal views of government's normative role in the lives of Americans. I've worked in several companies so I have a breadth of experiences in which I've interacted with people from all walks of life. I do my best to treat everyone with respect and approach problems with inquiry to find the source of the problem and determine the most desirable and realistic resolution.

What are your goals in serving on this Board/Commission/Committee? If selected for the airport authority board, my goal is to balance the positive of access to convenient air transportation with the negatives of road traffic and noise pollution. If selected for the landlord tenant commission, my goal is to objectively help landlords and tenants arbitrate their differences and when necessary, recommend legal recourse.
