To Whom It May Concern,
On February 26, 2025, the Friends of the Burbank Public Library board voted unanimously to provide one-time funding for a library bookmobile up to the amount of $305,000 for vehicle purchase and fabrication expenses. The Friends will work with the City to determine final vehicle price and associated costs for fabrication. At that time, upon mutual agreement, the Friends will provide a donation to the City for the outlined costs. The City will be responsible for any ongoing maintenance, operations, insurance, and replacement costs for adding the vehicle to their City fleet.
