AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURBANK AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE 3,
SECTION 315 OF THE BURBANK MUNICIPAL CODE TO
REPLACE THE NAME OF THE PARK, RECREATION AND
COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT WITH PARKS
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
City Attorney’s Synopsis
This Ordinance amends the Burbank Municipal Code (BMC) in its entirety to replace all references to “Park, Recreation and Community Services” to “Parks and Recreation”. The purpose of this Ordinance is to update the Burbank Municipal Code so that it is consistent with the services the Department provides to the community.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. The usage of “Park, Recreation and Community Services” as it references a Director or Department as reflected throughout the entire Burbank Municipal Code is hereby replaced as follows:
Parks and Recreation Department
2. The City Manager or designee , including the City Clerk, is hereby authorized to codify this amendment.
3. This Ordinance shall become effective at 12:01 a.m. on the thirty-first (31st) day after the date of adoption.
