CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2026
Call to Order:
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Burbank was held in the Council Chamber, 275 East Olive Avenue, on the above date. The meeting was called to order at 3:05 p.m. by Mayor Takahashi.
Moment of Reflection:
Mayor Takahashi held a Moment of Reflection to begin the meeting with positive and collective support for our beloved community.
Flag Salute:
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Takahashi.

Reports to Council:
1. Update on Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority North Hollywood to Pasadena Corridor Bus Rapid Transit and Senate Bill 79 Vice Mayor Mullins acknowledged volunteer community committee participation and reported she did not have any conflicts of interests related to the project.
Council Member Perez arrived at 3:10 p.m.
David Kriske, Assistant Community Development Director – Transportation and Planning, presented the PowerPoint Presentation and responded to City Council inquiries. Joseph McDougall, City Attorney; Fred Ramirez, Assistant Community Development Director – Transportation and Planning; and Pam Lee of Aleshire & Wynder also responded to Council inquiries.
