SUBJECT: Appointment by City Council of One Resident Commissioner to the Calexico Housing Authority Board

Recommendation:
Council to make the appointment of a Resident Commissioner to the Calexico Housing Authority Board.
Background:
On April 20, 2022 Council voted to remove resident commissioner Roldan on request by the Calexico Housing Authority Board due to the commissioner's lack of attendance to the HACC Board meetings.
Discussion & Analysis:
Qualified applicants for this position must be a Public Housing Resident. Commission vacancy was advertised in the city website, Camarena Library, Calexico Recreation Department, City Hall bulletin boards and in the Housing Authority Bulletin boards, their website and their newsletter. The following application was received:
