SUBJECT: Ratification of the Use of the City Logo for the "Ni Una Mas" movie event on October 1, 2022
Recommendation:
Ratification of the use of the City logo for the "Ni Una Mas" movie event on October 1, 2022.
Background:
On September 20, 2022, Mr. Roy Dorantes, RD Media Consulting requested a copy of the City of Calexico logo for the purpose of putting it on a banner for the event of "NI UNA MAS" at SDSU-IV taking place on Saturday, October 1st.
Discussion & Analysis:
City Council expressed their support for this important event for the Calexico community.
The event is partly for the benefit of the Calexico senior citizens program.
Staff requests the council ratify the use of the City logo in the promotion the movie event.

None.

Hello, Ms. Garcia.
We're requesting a copy of the City of Calexico logo in high resolution (hopefully at least 1MB or higher), for the purpose of putting it on a banner for the event of "NI UNA MAS" at SDSU-IV taking place on Saturday, October 1st. We're getting ready to order the banner and discovered that all the city logo images online and on the city website have low resolution and might pixelate if put on a large banner. The event is partly for the benefit of a the Calexico senior citizens program. Please send me the logo as soon as possible.
