'Honoring Too Coreolas or 40.5 Years of Borolo"
WHEREAS, the Calexico City Council believes that it is important that we honor and acknowledge those people who contribute to the citizens of City of Calexico; and WHEREAS, the Calexico City Council here today expresses its appreciation to Jose Corcoles and honor him for his distinguished 40.5 year career with the City of Calexico and dedicated service to the residents of Calexico; and
WHEREAS, Jose began his career with the City of Calexico in 1982 where he held the following positions throughout his years of service:
1982 Laborer - Public Works Department
1990 Street Maintenance Laborer - Public Works Department 2002 Equipment Operator-Public Works Department
2006 Street Sweeper Operator - Public Works Department
2019 Street Painter - Public Works Department
WHEREAS, in 1983 Jose simultaneously served as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Calexico Fire Department.
WHEREAS, after giving the City of Calexico 40.5 years of dedicated service, Jose decided to retire on January 20, 2023 to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren; and WHEREAS, the City of Calexico wishes to honor Jose Corcoles for his distinguished service to the citizens of this great City and commemorate his many years of service to the City of Calexico and its citizens; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Calexico wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Jose Corcoles for his loyalty to the City of Calexico and wish him much happiness as he begins this exciting new chapter in fis life IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto affix my signature and Official Seal of the City of Calexico on this 18tri day of January, 2023.
