Authorize City Manager to Sign Notice of Completion for Alley Improvement Project - Phase I.
Background:
On December 21, 2022, the City Council of the City of Calexico award the bid proposal from Pyramid Construction and Aggregates, Inc. in the amount of $820,565.00 and authorized the City Manager to sign Construction Agreement for Alley Improvement Project - Phase I.
Discussion & Analysis:
On April 1, 2023, Pyramid Construction and Aggregates, Inc. completed the following alleys:

The total contract for this project approved by the City Council on December 21, 2022 was $820,565.00. With the deductive change order in the amount of $173,985.15, the total final cost for Alley Improvements Project - Phase I is $ 646,579.85.
Public Works staff is recommending that the City Council of the City of Calexico authorize the City Manager to file Notice of Completion for said project.
