Recommendation:
Recommend and approve cancellation of regularly scheduled City Council meeting for September 20, 2023.
Background:
Each year, the League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo brings together California City Council Members and City Managers. This year it will be held in Sacramento California from September 20 - 22, 2023. The regularly scheduled City Council meeting falls during this time on September 20th.
Discussion and Analysis:
Mayor Raul Ureña, Council Member Camilo Garcia, Council Member Gilberto Manzanarez, and City Manager Esperanza Colio Warren will be attending the Conference representing the City of Calexico. Therefore, it is recommended to approve the cancellation of the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting for September 20, 2023.
