Hi Ashlee,
Thank you for taking my call yesterday.
We are currently experiencing an issue purchasing our 2023 Chevy Tahoe PPV for DUI patrols. I spoke to several fleet managers located in different parts of California and they advised that 1 because this vehicle is in such high demand, there is a waiting list and if a vehicle is purchased in Sept., it will not be ready until March or April 2024. Plus, we have to add in a few weeks to have someone install stickers, the lighting system, and the computer system inside. This would put us at the end of the grant period.
We are humbly asking if we can supplement the Chevy Tahoe for the following vehicles, police rated/packaged, in the order of importance:
1. Ford Expedition
2. Ford F150
3. Ford Explorer
4. Dodge Charger
Either of these vehicles will help us satisfy our proposal requirements. Some of these vehicles can be ready in the next several months.
Thank you in advance,
Shaun E. Sundahl
