BACKGROUND:
On August 13, 2019, Sylvia Arrellano, Applicant, submitted a uniform application and tentative parcel map to the Development Services Department for a lot split at the frontage of Raul Estrada Boulevard (APN 058-030-097). The subject parcel map was presented to the Planning Commission of the City of Calexico on December 2, 2019, where upon reviewing the application, the Commission voted to conditionally approve the tentative parcel map with a two-year filing deadline via the adoption of Resolution 2019-34.
Upon submitting the final parcel map to the City for a final review and recording, comments on the map arose from the City but were never properly communicated to the Applicant resulting in the expiration of the parcel map approval.
The purpose of this item is to present the extension request to the City Council where upon reviewing all relevant documents and considering comments for and against the project, the City Council will motion to approve, conditionally approve, or deny the extension.
