Background:
On September 6, 2023, the City Council of the City of Calexico approved the Utility Box Art Project Cycle II Forms and Guidelines.
On December 20, 2023, the City Council of the City of Calexico approved the selection of artwork for this project cycle.

On January 23, 2024, Artists Agreements were executed, and the City processed first artists stipend installments.
On March 8, 2024, CNS Signs began image set up and utility box preparations. On April 3, 2024, CNS Signs finished installing vinyl wraps on all nine utility boxes.
