Informational Item: Grants Manager to Provide Status Update Regarding Grants.
Background:
On February 5, 2025, the City Council approved the establishment and recruitment of a Grants Manager position. The role has since been successfully filled To help assess the impact of this role, Council Member Calderon is requesting the following information:
• How many grants has the City applied for since the position was implemented? • Of those, how many have been awarded?
This data will help evaluate the effectiveness of the Grants Manager position and guide future resource olanning. This information was requested to be on the October 1, 2025 agenda.
