Informational Item: Public Works Director/City Engineer to Provide the Following:
a) Update on the Rodriguez Park Restrooms
b) Downtown Cleaning Schedule
c) Parks Equipment and Park Maintenance Schedule
Background:
Rodriguez Park has benefited from the dedicated efforts of community volunteers. At the February 19, 2025 meeting, Council Member Marquez reported having met with residents who raised concerns regarding the park's restroom facilities. She is formally requesting a status update, as the restrooms remain inoperative and continue to pose a public inconvenience.
Council Member Marquez is also requesting a Downtown Cleaning Schedule as well as a Park Equipment and Park Maintenance Schedule. This information was requested to be on the October 1, 2025 agenda.
