Accept and file report
Background:
The building formerly occupied by the Calexico Chamber of Commerce at the above-subject location is in a deteriorated and unsafe condition that repairing it is impractical. The purpose of this report is to inform the City Council that the Fire Department will perform training exercises at the site in the near future, to be followed by final demolition of the structure by the Public Works Department. Staff will provide an exact schedule once available.
