RESOLUTION NO. 08-23-2996
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CALIFORNIA CITY AUTHORIZING COUNCIL
MEMBER JIM CREIGHTON TO SERVE AS THE CITY’S
VOTING DELEGATE AT THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA
CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities exists to represent the collective interests of member cities at the California state level; and
WHEREAS, California City (“City”) has a vested interest in the activities, positions, and policies of the League of California Cities; and
WHEREAS, California City has been granted a vote at the League of California Cities Annual Conference (“Conference”) that would aide in creating and/or amending those activities, positions, and policies; and WHEREAS, a need has arisen to appoint a member of the City Council of California City to represent the City’s interests at the League of California Cities Annual Conference.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALIFORNIA CITY RESOLVES as follows:
Council Member Jim Creighton is given authority to serve as the representative of California City at the League of California Cities Annual Conference and casts any and all votes on behalf of the City at the Conference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on August 8, 2023 by the City Council of the City of California City, County of Kern, State of California, by the following vote:
