City Council Minutes June 10, 2025
Councilmember Eisenberg attended an NVTA meeting, Danielle Schmitz has been approved as the incoming Executive Director, and he anticipates a smooth transition.

Lopez-Ortega attended a flood control meeting closed session; nothing to report there. She also reports that she has been appointed by the Napa Couty Mayors to the North Bay Executive Committee for the League of Cities, and will be attending more meetings than usual while representing Calistoga.

Mayor Williams attended an NVTA meeting and brings back interesting statistics - On average, Route 10 has 390 riders per day and the Calistoga Shuttle has 35 riders per day. The farebox subsidy of Route 10 is over $20 per passenger, pretty high. He also attended a NV Tourism Corporation meeting. Earllier in the year, there were some recommendations by Council attached to the approval given to participate in the program and our recommendation that Visit Napa Valley, as the contractor, not to have a paid representative on the board of the NVTC has been included in the contract, the recommendation of increasing the funding of the local upvalley welcome centers is still under consideration.

10. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Williams adjourned the meeting, at 8:31 p.m.

Respectfully submitted:
