Water and Wastewater Rate Study

The City of Camarillo and Camarillo
Sanitary District (CSD) analyze and update
the water and wastewater rate studies
annually to determine whether current rates
are sufficient to cover estimated costs of
infrastructure improvements and ongoing
maintenance and operations in compliance
with regulatory requirements.

The City and CSD conducted formal water and wastewater rate studies in July 2021 through February 2022. The results of the studies recommended an overall revenue increase of 2% to the Water Enterprise and 4% to the Wastewater Enterprise.

This Town Hall Meeting presents an opportunity for the community to better understand the rate setting process and the proposed rates that will be considered at the scheduled public hearing on May 11, 2022. This meeting is not a public hearing and no actions approving or denying any rates will be made. The Town Hall is open to the public and will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the proposed rates.
