Public Forum
Water and Wastewater Rate Study

The City of Camarillo and Camarillo Sanitary District
(CSD) analyze and update the water and wastewater
rate studies annually to determine whether current rates are sufficient to cover estimated costs of infrastructure improvements and ongoing maintenance and
operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.

This helps ensure more local control over our water
supply and reduces reliance on costly, imported water.

The City of Camarillo is committed to providing safe,
high-quality water service by properly maintaining and
upgrading systems to ensure we protect and efficiently
use our water resources now and into the future, while
also trying to minimize the impacts to the community.

The Public Forum on September 18, 2023 is not a public hearing and no actions approving or denying any rates will be taken. The forum is open to the public and will provide information about the proposed rates and an opportunity for the community to better understand the rate setting process and the proposed rates that will be considered at the scheduled public hearing on October 11, 2023.
