Subject: RPD-189M(3) Williams Homes (southwest corner of Petit Street and Village at the Park Drive) – Resolution Accepting Public Improvements, Warranty Security, and Exonerating Performance Securities
BACKGROUND
RPD-189M(3) is a residential planned development of 96 multi-family apartments located near the southwest corner of Petit Street and Village at the Park Drive in Village at the Park. On April 14, 2021, the City Council of the City of Camarillo approved the improvement plans, acknowledged receipt of agreements and securities, and authorized staff to process all documents. The project location is shown on the attached map (Attachment 1).
DISCUSSION
The public improvements have now been completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company Faithful Performance/Labor and Materials Bonds No. PB03010407257 in the amount of $113,911 for water improvements may be exonerated.
Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company Warranty Bond No. PB03010407257-A in the amount of $28,478 for water improvements has been submitted and will remain in place for the required maintenance period.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a Resolution accepting public improvements, warranty securities, and exonerating performance securities for RPD-189M(3).
