RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO EXONERATING WARRANTY SECURITIES
FOR ANNUAL RESURFACING - PROJECT NO. ST-5017
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. On July 28, 2021 the City Council of the City of Camarillo accepted public improvements for Annual Resurfacing - Project No. ST-5017 (the “Project”).
B. On September 28, 2022 the City Council of the City of Camarillo adopted a resolution exonerating the Performance/Payment Bonds for the Project.
C. The two (2) year Warranty Bond has remained posted for the required maintenance period.
SECTION 2:The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, Warranty Bond No. 024238194 in the amount of $280,000 to guarantee any defect in material or construction that shall appear within two (2) years from the date of Resolution No. 2021-77, July 28, 2021, is exonerated.
SECTION 3:The Public Works Department is authorized to return the bond noted in Section 2 to the contractor.
