A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR TREATED WATER DIVERSION – NORTH PLEASANT
VALLEY GROUNDWATER DESALTER - PROJECT NO.
MC-2023-5
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. The City is desirous of completing the public improvement project, Treated Water Diversion – North Pleasant Valley Groundwater Desalter – Project No. MC-2023- 5 (the “Project”).
B. The Project is necessary to further promote public health, safety and welfare.
C. The City Council has previously allocated funds for the construction of the Project in approving the budget for the current fiscal year.
D. The City has conducted the necessary environmental review for the Project and a Categorical Exemption in conformance with CEQA has been signed and posted for the Project.
SECTION 2:City Council approves said project, approves the plans and specifications, adopts the Categorical Exemption CEQA finding pursuant to CEQA Guideline Section 15301 Class 1 for the Project, and hereby authorizes the Director of Public Works to proceed with constructing the Project.
SECTION 3:This resolution shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 4:The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
