RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS
AT BEDFORD DRIVE AND DUNNIGAN STREET
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. Prohibiting parking during school hours on the west side of Bedford Drive beginning 20 feet from the south curb prolongation of Dunnigan Street and extending 105 feet southerly;
B. Prohibiting parking at all times on the west side of Bedford Drive beginning 20 feet from the north curb prolongation of Dunnigan Street and extending 30 feet northerly; C. Prohibiting parking during school hours on the south side of Dunnigan Street beginning 20 feet from the west prolongation of Bedford Drive and extending 60 feet westerly;
D. Prohibiting parking during school hours on the north side of Dunnigan Street beginning 25 feet from the east curb prolongation of Bedford Drive and extending 50 feet easterly; will improve intersection capacity, reduce school traffic congestion, and be in the best interest and safety of drivers and pedestrians.
SECTION 2:Any portion of any previous resolution in conflict with this resolution is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3:The Department of Public Works is directed to install appropriate signs and pavement markings advising motorists of this order.
