Item Number or Subject Amending & Reinstating 11.20.220 Oversized Vehicle Parking Position Oppose
Comments When the ordinance changed we called the City Of Canarillo to inquire about the change before purchasing an RV we could park in our driveway that complied with all the guidelines set forth. We asked the City employee that once we purchased the RV if there would be a problem in the future of the ordinance going back to the original of no parking RVs in your driveway. We were told no that will not happen. In Oct of 2021 we purchased an RV based on the current law & compliance with the thought that we would never have to pay a storage fee. I am not sure what the complete "Amending & Reistating" involves but do not think it would be fair to any citizen of Camarillo who purchased an RV during this time period to be penalized by amending or reinstating this part of Title 11.
Asking for the Council to please take this into consideration.
We purchased the RV size that would comply with the City Ordinance in 2021 and do think it would be extremely unfair for citizens to now have to store the RVs and have the
additional expense to store. And there are not enough storage areas in the area to accommodate. Thank You.
