AGREEMENT NO. 2020-48A
FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
This First Amendment to Agreement No. 2020-48A (Amendment) is entered into between the City of Camarillo, a California general law city and municipal corporation (City), and Charles Abbott Associates, Inc., collectively referred to as the Parties. The effective date of this Amendment is July 1, 2023.
RECITALS
A. On May 13, 2020, the City Council approved Professional Services Agreement No. 2020-48 with Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. for Building and Safety Services for a three-year period with the option of two, one-year extensions to be approved by the City Council effective July 1, 2020 (Agreement).
B. Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. provides Building and Safety services for the City, Community Development Department, including plan review and plan check, permit issuance, inspections and documentation.
C. Pursuant to Section 22.4 of the Agreement, the parties wish to extend the Agreement for an additional one-year period.
D. All capitalized terms not defined in this Amendment have the same meaning set forth in the Agreement.
Section 1. Amendment. The Agreement is amended to add the following:
1. The term of the Agreement is extended from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
Section 2. Compensation and Payment Section 5 of the Agreement. Subject to any limitations set forth in this First Amendment, City agrees to pay consultant amount specified in Exhibit A, as attached.
Section 3. Continuation of Terms of Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the terms and provisions of this document, the remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES of the Parties have caused this First Amendment, Agreement No. 2020-48A, to be executed as of the Effective Date. [Signatures on the following page]
